You can hear Aahaa FM online!

Apparently through a website called www.loka.fm.

Someone just mailed me and she happened to mention that she liked my show and heard the show yesterday from Malaysia. I was curious to know how she did so. And voila, lo and behold! :D

And as I type this out I can hear the show station on my laptop. Which is a first. :)

  27. Thanks Chinmayi!!. Sitting in US and listening about happenings in namma chennai is great .Your questions / topic for discussion is very innvoative. Yesterday I remember you asking about "Electric train key lost" ...Wow !!! I liked your presentation ,but one small suggestion is try to speak as much in Tamil. Neenga lot of english word use pannerenga :-). Please don't think I am commenting about your presentation . I am being selfish , I want my 2.5 yr old son to listen lot of tamil words so he speaks tamil more :-)

  30. Dear Chinmayi

I live in US and we will be happy to hear you through internet now. At this juncture, I want to bring in a subject which has been in Indo American's and NRI's mind for a long time.

Last night a 13 year old Indian girl Kavya Shivashankar won the American Spell bee competition that carries a $40,000 award and $100,000 college scholarships. The program itself was well covered (2 hours) by most of the leading TV channels during prime time. This is follwed by her interviews in TV channels, Radio stations, News papers and Magazines for the next 2weeks.

In India, I don't see any such kind of coverage for education or sports to the level of the commercialized US media. In Indian Media, Everything is centerd around Cinema and politics. Whenever there is a festival day or holiday, all Tamil channels have the repeated interviews and programs centered around cinema personalities. You may point out a few coverages but we feel that it is not aequate. While I agree that these channels have to function commercially, there should be some compromises for a noble cause of society and talent development. There is so much publicity for the Padma awards of cinema personalities but any award for education, sports or bravery is given a tiny space in newspapers. Maximum coverage and publicity of educational and sports achievements will motivate a lot of Indian children to compete globally and have an all round development.

I would welcome your valuable thoughts on this and inform us if you have any plans to promote talent in the educational and sports field. If you need any support from NRIs, we will be happy to be associated with you.

  48. Hi Chinmayi

Our family is missing you a lot on the Vijay TV Super Singer Junior 2.

Hoping to see you back in action soon.

in tune to the other messages:

You could also listen to Hello FM Chennai online 24x7.

Download the toolbar from 24x7radioindia.com. It's Free!!!

Not only one station but there are so many other stations and also live tv's playing in there. I've plans to add more stations sooner and am actively working on them.
