I feel speaking with your usual style would be more appealing than imitaing the routine. High pitched comments or presentations are the usual stuff everybody showcast in front of the camera. Many people were arrogant and some were polite and well behaved.
Surprisingly none of the polite people I saw became selected, except Vignesh. Others who made an appearance were not noticed by me on that day I came with my daughter in Chennai.

I would request you to publish the few (if you did notice them) polite people and also comment. I firmly believe this because that politeness is mistaken for cowardice and lack of talent. Even one of the judge wasn't polite to many II round participants.

I agree in this competitive world one must persevere hard to succeed, but never forget polite behaviour. I am remembered of Mrs Southey's schoolday rhyme"NEVER SAY FAIL" where she advises to be pushy. Sadly mistaken in today's context that being pushy people give politeness a severe go by. People in the garb of being pushy forget the hard work and tireless efforts required

Please atleast make a comment on those who were polite!S.Kumarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09906051843026175939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-79638485394863105062007-08-17T12:56:00.000+05:302007-08-17T12:56:00.000+05:30i just hope the kids can learn from their mistakes...i just hope the kids can learn from their mistakes. and esp not grow up with the same attitude. i'm sure everyone has made mistakes when they were younger and even continue to make mistakes now. just hope we get better every day. and i'm glad u're not advertising all the mistakes the kids made during the program though u must have found them shocking and annoying.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-83045212357900722492007-08-16T19:15:00.000+05:302007-08-16T19:15:00.000+05:30The most appropriate punishment for people of this...The most appropriate punishment for people of this kind would be to show them what they did (or play the videos) when they become a little bit more mature at a later part of their lives, just as Ramya Krishnan used to watch the marriage video of her hero(Rajini)in Padayappa movie(though she did it for a different purpose). Had there be a painless way to stop existing and the absence of fear associated with it, one would love to have a go at it under such situations of utter embarrasment. Having said this, would we be looking into our posts at some later time in future and empathizing the same thing? A bewilderment! I think it is best to sit and watch whats happening instead of trying to redesign, for we are mere players with null intelligence in comparison to our designers who seemed to have planned immaculately which key I am going to type in next. There is a tagline to the movie "BABA." "Known is a drop, unknown is a ocean." I am sure no one understands it, for to truly understand it one needs to know how big the oceans are in comparison to a tiny drop."

SathyamurthyAmrutasya Putrahahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11956603283211592639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-40017189039187979352007-08-16T10:55:00.000+05:302007-08-16T10:55:00.000+05:30hey chinmayi: listened to Enadhuyire. If Krishnamoorthy has so much pride that he won SSJ, how is he supposed to become an experienced and talented singer like SPB or KJJ? His parents must teach him to not be so egotistic. Krishnamoorthy should know that he should not take this as such a big deal. It is only the start of his singing career. Moreover, he should not be treated as a famous celebrity with such a bad and boastful attitude. To see a young mind with such a large ego and a bad attitude is quite upsetting...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-83687633066260960442007-08-13T21:23:00.000+05:302007-08-13T21:23:00.000+05:30Hi Chinmayi,Greetings from Arlington, VA. Being an announcer and a stage performer I know how it is to be their on stage and I am really glad the way you did the Super singer Jr and adult version of it. Though I don’t have subscriptions to Viajy Tv - I have seen the recordings on You tube. The show is absolutely wonderful - congratts.

Being a comparer I know how importance it is to have good pronunciation and as we all know it has become a missing factor in our RJ/VJ community but when I hear you I am really happy and grateful to you for the efforts that you are making in balancing Tamil and English in announcing a show – great job Chinmayi -keep it up.
Yesterday I happened to see a recording on Kumudam's site - that had interviews of HarishRagavendra and your self. By listing to it - and based on my limited observation on you 2 it’s clear how simple you guys are compared to some upcoming artist.

I am sorry and sad to say this but when I view the video of the super singer jr. finalist - Krishnamoorthy I am really disappointed with the behavior/comments of his, of course he is talented but that’s not the only thing an artist needs; discipline - is a key element for success and this something that needs to be enforced by the parents and gurus who train these talents. Being in the US for 8 years and taken part in varies shows I have come a cross lots of talents especially kids who has the same problem but I think all of them needs to learn a lot from people likes SPB sir, Jesusdas sir, Chirtra madam, Janaki amma and of course from Harish and your self – as how an artist should be.

Chinmayi, what ever I have mentioned here is just my view on this topic again good luck for you and I am sure when u get that MILLION RUPPEES (kumudam.com) - you will be able to study everything that u wanted (hats of what a thought).

Keep up the good work and may god bless you with more success.

Best.
RJ - from Arlington, VAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-40415429695678420792007-08-13T20:13:00.000+05:302007-08-13T20:13:00.000+05:30hey chinmayithis is my real namemy name is chinmay...hey chinmayi
this is my real name
my name is chinmayi sheshadri
if u remember v spoke on orkut;)
thanks for the wishes
chinmayiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-65342593161992332412007-08-13T19:43:00.000+05:302007-08-13T19:43:00.000+05:30cogito: I use this blog to voice out my concerns. ...cogito: I use this blog to voice out my concerns. Let me say that what I have written here is not even 1% of what the crew and I have faced with regard to attitude problems from the kids. I am not chastising anyone here, and I definitely do not have a say about what the producers plan for the show. Shopping mall, this or that. And yes we definitely need a society that teaches the proper values.. thats precisely my point.Chinmayi Sripada /Chinmayeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00140920395019781614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-46894465280884471092007-08-13T19:21:00.000+05:302007-08-13T19:21:00.000+05:30Though not entirely surprising, the behind the sce...Though not entirely surprising, the behind the scenes events are shocking to say the least.

While part of the blame lies with the parents who have failed to teach humbleness to these kids, the media and the audience have also hyped these shows a lot. The " shopping mall" galas, 5 star saloons were all uncalled for in a singing contest for chidren below the teen age. So rather than merely chastising the children, we as a society need to learn proper values.Cogitohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16202638300829925916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12719946.post-70772933468693189942007-08-13T17:44:00.000+05:302007-08-13T17:44:00.000+05:30Silicon Sillu,The Channel has to do such things in...Silicon Sillu,

The Channel has to do such things in order to promete the program.
