My latest song is in "Drohi", the Telugu version of Pachaikili Muthucharam. I have sung Madhushuree's Unakkul Naane in this one.
I admire her voice and the texture that she has. And when I did know that it was her song that I was going to sing, I was slightly jittery. But I guess it has come out OK.

  6. Hi!!
Its a good number in this movie.
I remember the girl who sing this particular song in Airtel Supersinger though she lost in the competition.

Whenever this song is played, i use to remember her and her lovable brother.

Now i think the same feel would be created in Telugu.

    All the Best!!!

  7. Hey Chinmayi,

I like the way you sang the word 'undaleni' in a subtle stretch in the song, and also you sound great in low pitch, considering extremely high is generally the female singer's forte!!!

  13. Hey Chinmayi,

As much as u like Madhushree - Something abt that song's pitch dosen't sit with me... unlike the bombay jayashree version!

The song has some kind of sensual feel to it.. somehow madhusree's pitch and that coarse tamil didn't appeal to me at all...

On the other hand I love ur singing and Am usre u'd ahve done a good job!

    All the best!

  19. Hi Chinmayi, the moment i heard ur version of Unnakul Naane in Drohi, i automatically knew urs was a Madhushree's version... wanna know how??

Madhushree's version was the 'SWEET love' version of Unakkul Naane... while B.Jayashree's was a 'rough love' kinda... B.Jayashree sounded very manly in the song.... B.Jayashree's version didint appeal me.... thank god there was a Madhushree's version :)....

i prefered Madhushree's version... i think they should have used Madhushree's version in the film instead.

and Chinmayee, u did an excellent job.... ur version was just as good as Madhushree's.... :)hats off to u.... !!
