Kumaran Silks "Paadum office" telecast

Is on air as of yesterday. This is a 10 episoder and will be telecast on Vijay TV on Saturdays between 7 - 8 PM IST and Sundays, repeat 4.30-5.30 PM.
We finished shooting for the series pretty fast and as usual a lot of fun though this was a completely new team that I worked with. James Vasanthan is the brain behind this show and he is seen me grow over the years. From a girl who barely spoke, who was highly inhibited, to someone who talks shop in front of the camera. When I did face the camera for Paadum Office and when I saw James Vasanthan in front of me giving me instructions, it felt nice. For one I never thought I would ever talk much in front of the camera, let alone host shows. And of course two other Presenters who I admire, Vijay Adiraj and Uma Padmanabhan. They have been surprised at the transformation that time has wrought about.
Paadum Office was short and pretty sweet!

  2. Dear Chinmayi!!,
Could you let us know the eligibility for participating in the show.

Will be eager to see this programme.

All the Best For the show and WE all KNOW YOU WILL ROCK AGAIN!!!

My suggesstion, please do sing in between which would make the contestants free as the way you introduce people itself makes them fear even if they are prepared. Just imagine if you introducing Balu is the next contestant, i will forget everything but if you sing and invite the contestant, that will make a comfort entry to them.

Of course you are really rocking while hosting, as we all seen your "sodhappals" too. Its really nice and we enjoyed a lot.

    All the Best!!

    Musically Yours
    Balu

  8. i would like to ask a singer this question.
Can someone sing well lying down flat, with the back against the ground/bed?
i understand that a persons breathing and breath control changes. i couldn't. But then again, i am a lousy singer even for bathroom standards. so i wonder how u might sing.

  10. Good Luck for the success of paadum Office. By the ways, Chinmayi, if u donot mind, is time getting a real constraint while publishing your posts, too lately ? I was just glancing over your previous posts and could point out quite a few (ignorable but dominatingly visible) errors through out in your
otherwise-almost-error-free posts. Just wanted to bring it to your notice 'coz i enjoy your blog :)

vasanthan: someone can sing lying down flat but I guess the voice throw wont be good enough..

  15. Hey,

Long time I had any time (with my daughter around!) to read your blog, also do my own blogging. Did not realise that Paadum office had started and you are hosting until I incidentally browsed and saw you in today's repeat. I really felt happy. Will watch regularly from this week. Good luck!
