Juxtaposing two of my favourites

I happened to do this while we beamed my show Aahaa Kaapi Klub from Canada, while we were there for a show earlier this year. Tried combining Jagjit Singh's "Apne Aankhon ke samandar mein..." with "Udhaya Udhaya". It sounded nice then. I tried pretty much the same thing. Telecast on yesterday, its here for your view.

  5. Superb!! The Feel and Music mattered here that I feel. This is one way and also an example for national integration. Could you give the meaning of this "Apne" that you have sung here.

  6. Thanks for sharing such a nice video & music. Its excellent.

This girl looks like one contestent of Airtel Super Singer 2008- Thamizagathin brammandamana chella kural thedal.

I was so upset that Baargavi was eleiminated, she didnt perform well because of wrong song selection. You could have given her a chance to sing some other song.

  7. Little time I get to spend on TV, an I dont miss Super singer. we make it a point to watch together(my wife/daughter) . We are a great fan of yours.I'm little dissappointed that you sounded so biased towards santhosh/deepshika pair that you gave him/them your lucky lord hanuman's idol. I didnt have an answer when my daughter asked me - why did chinmayi aunty gave this to only Santhosh & Deepshika? though i can appreciate that its a purely personal decision, and that you gave him with good intentions, i thought you shouldn't have chosen to tell about this to everyone in public. I think other participants too deserve good luck and beleive me everyone is seeking blessings and well wishes from a mentor like you and i hope you will take care of them with a small gesture of good luck during the coming shows so that everyone gets more encouraged and motivated...

    Cheers

  14. Thanks everyone
Raj: The Hanuman chain was NOT given by me. I guess there is a serious misunderstanding. If you had seen the earlier episodes, Santhosh mentioned during the regionals that his mom gave it to him and he thinks it is lucky for him. And he carries it. It has been my routine to ask time and again whether he has it on his person. Wish you had made double checked before calling me biased.

Commenting on ur voice I shud admint that u have a very bold, clear & a very soothing voice which u render according to the song.
Also Tamil pronounciation is too good while singing which really can make a song Hit.
Thats really great. Moreover I'm a die hard fan of ARR sir. And liked ur voice since Kannathil muththamittal.
All the Best for ur future ventures.

I hope u reply my comment.
