'To sing one more time'

In Memory of Michael Jackson. This song is composed by Dharan and the lyrics are penned by Benny Dayal. (Once during a recording session, I figured Benny composes and writes his own lyrics, in English though and am glad that his work is there for all to hear and see. I am not sure however, if he his work has already been published, if so I apologize.)

I loved working on this song and it was a very fun session. Haricharan and Naresh were present at the time I landed up at the studio and we also had this small session together behind the mic. Realized, once again that recording together with other artistes is actually a lot of fun. Hope to be able to work with Dharan a lot more in the future. And hopefully Benny will come out with a lot more of his compositions. I think a lot of the professional singers I know seem to be a composer in the making. I too learnt very early how to compose - an Email, a text message and a blog. And that's all the composing I can manage.

  1. Dear Miss. Chinmayi

A beautiful song indeed! Its soulful and impactful.. Its nice to see the new generation of youngsters coming together for endaevours as this with a lot of sincerity. This new blood I guess is flowing into all fields, which kind of gives the respective fields a facelift and a new dimension.. And shows the young generation as one with discipline, aspiration and sincerity.. May it be our young members of Parliament, or the young brand of film makers or young entrepreuners... well afterall experience comes only after laps of nascent efforts.. And success eventually follows!!
And efforts as this are truly a satire against some of the members of the previous generations who blindly say that the new age population is spoilt and good for just having reckless fun.. Proud to be part of this new gang!!!!!
    :-)
    Kudos and Cheers!!

  9. Hey ! I play a little guitar and try out some composing too! Its so much fun !

a little tune would spark in while playing the guitar.. I'd record it instantly on phone... and later try add more to it, and structure it... adding lyric to it makes it complete !

for someone like you, composing if you start should come out so spontaneously ! do try!
