At home I booked the TV from 9 PM from Monday to Wednesday. My mom is worried coz she may miss the end part of her fav serial Kolangal. I can see my Chinmayi three days a week. Wow! I feel like floating in the air. I feel like whistling. I feel like.... Ada pongappa.. enna sollanne theriyala.
Hi Chinmayi - Mala here - I live in the US and I lOVE music [learnt it for long - base voice singer] but am not musically inclined if you know what i mean! :) my husband can differenciate between raagas with just a few notes and I stare at him with awe- he is a great singer and has been singing for long.. Anyways coming to the point - i was not aware of who you were - have always loved your songs - sahaana, kannattil muttam, minsaara kanna etc. But the song that drove me google you out and find out more about you was tere bina from GURU - god what a voice- SIMPLY SUPERB! excellent take on the notes especially when you hit the high ones after the base! oh god! i had to come and google you. period! worth an effort! I am going to look out for more of you..All the best - i so hope you read this! :)

Heard your Maiya maiya song in the Trichy auditions to cheer up the waiting list crowd. That was one effortless and brilliant singing! The way you started the song as you were casually walking back to the stage took me aback. I thought VijayTV was playing it in the background (of the re-recording)!! You went into that song with such ease and kept the crowd with you. Too good! (am I stealing your fave phrase here?)

Hey Chinmayi, Hats off to you... You do an amazing job hosting the show. I can imagine it must be tough to be in sync with the participants, the audience and the judges all at the same time. You pull it off with gusto. Keep up the good work!
As for your musical mellifluence, I don't need to say much more than what's established: you're awesome! I'm amazed that singer Chinmayi and TV show host Chinmayi are both equally versatile.
You seem to be passionate about the things that matter to you; I admire that.
May God be with you, and may your legion of fans (me being its founder!) rejoice in your accomplishments along your journey.
You were great in super singer. And i am quite disappointed to see that u are no more a part of that team. I really hate to see that show with the new face. U suit well for that show. And ur command on concepts are facinating....
Hope u'll come back to host atleast the finals... I just cant see and stand funny pronunciations in finals...Please come back....

Airtel Super Singer 2008 will be telecasted in Vijay TV from 7th July at 9.00pm. enjoy
Super Singer has the calibre to rule the 9.00 pm slot but since Kolangal is at it's ending, Star Vijay might have to rethink their strategy.
The previous attempt with Kadhalikka Neramillai didn't really produce the expected results.
