In my opinion Kitchen Aid has been used for ages and ages and seems to be the most popular, They also have a terrific range and are extremely durable. For everyday use of doughs for cookies/ cakes/ tarts/ bread etc, its pretty good and handy. Looks like all the chefs on Food TV use Kitchen Aid for their doughs. Is this for you??? neways take a look at this review and decide for yourself..
KitchenAid is pretty good. However if you are not planning to use it much which happened to mine(Started off fanatically and then came to a stop) you might consider buying a cheaper one - most standup mixers work fine without issues. Just make sure they have the settings that you plan to use them for.
Hi, I happened to read your blog and I swear by me that KitchenAid mixers are the best. I am someone who bakes a lot and I've been using KitchenAid foe a really long time. It's long lasting, multi purpose and quiet. Definitely a must have.
It really seems to be KitchenAid day. Was just having a long conversation with a friend - well to be honest, more like her going on and on about it and me just listening :)
Would say, it sounds like its the best in the category. But as one commentor said, it depends on if you plan to use it regularly - otherwise it might be a bit of an overkill as well.

Yes. It is for baking and other mixing needs. I am not sure on how it can be adapted to Indian cooking, though.
In case you are buying one, make sure it is a 220V one and not the 110V one from USA.
P.S: Weighs over 12 kgs.
