Its amazing how attached one can become to their pet. And within such a short span of time. I miss Joey terribly and wait to see him whenever I come back from work. So much so that I have begun blogging about him :)
Its beautiful to have him sleep off on my shoulder sometimes, or on my hands. That's what he does most of the day. The remaining time he pees and poops. And then he chews on whatever can find. My ankles and toes and whosoever else's he can find as of now.

I love him to bits and this birthday was definitely the most special of all because Joey came home. Was telling a friend that I miss Joe and he said that's the best and worst part of having a pet.

Joey is now part of my family. I think he'd be way better than those who actually are supposed to be my kith and kin! :p

I agree with your friend's best and worst part of having a pet.I had a dog when I was in 7th std and used to take for walking everyday and clean the area he used to pee/poop every time like I love to do it becoz she is mine. But when you have to let go of them for some reason or if they fall sick and leave us, that's really really the worst part.Wishing you a lot of fun times with Joey.

Feel so bad that you seperated that puppy and gave virtual family. I hope it doesn't need virtual golden family instead the real family.

Too many people bring home pets, with little or no knowledge of the animal. They are often left in a cage, or tied to a tree. These animals live a meaningless existance...just waiting for death, often neglected and/or abused.

madhumsr,
If you had even the slightest knowledge of how dogs function, you'd know that they don't quite make the distinction of being amid humans in place of dogs. Also, stop making general statements like "too many people treat dogs cruelly". Especially in a personal blog where the owner expresses her happiness about being the proud owner of a loving dog. Clearly, this doesn't seem like a case of "animal neglect".

Hi,
Been reading some of your posts on your pet. It's a wonderful to own a pet especially dogs they are far more humane than the kith and kin around us!!
Just the subject about veg/veganism if you ever get a chance to watch this documentary food Inc please do and maybe you can write a post about it as well.People in india laugh when you say that you are veg where here in the US I met a lot of veg/vegans and they do respect you for what you are.

hmmm... so his name is Joey... had asked you his name couple of times in twitter... sadly I got no response... Atleast, I came across this blog today and find it out. Seems this was the right time for me to know his name. :)

The photo you with him... is so cute and little rare to see. Good to know you are an animal lover.
