You are right! ARR rocks! He has proved y he is best in da industry once again. Really proud to a Rahmaniac! "I miss u da" is simply just mind blowing! Hoping to see u giving us more of such mind blowing songs together with ARR! I just cant wait for the release of Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam songs!
Btw you mentioned in your last post "I am involved with Sakkarakatti in another way as well" So wat is the another way actually abt?
but this song chinamma chilakamma was already there in a film called meenaxi tale of 3 cities by mfhussain . miss u da is sorta new with all those hiphop stuff
awsum album.... is miss you da really by u lolz :P so different hehe..anyway marudhani n taxi taxi were superb.. aana chinnamma romba nalaiku apuram tamil la wandu irukku :) its from minaxi right ??
You have sung in a very nice way in this movie. I liked your husky voice. Is it the first time you are singing with husky voice? Write a few lines on your experience whil recording this fantastic song.
I jus heard chinnamma song .... earlier I thought all songs would be fresh n new from Thalaivar. But this song is from Meenaxi, I like it tho. Since I already like this song in Hindi version, I am unable to engross fully into tamil version .... I hope those who havnt heard hindi version will luv this song.
hmn.... I miss u da ! a soft jazzy score by Rahman ji ! though i didnt understand the first word on the song ;-) some "imini" or something .... the lyrics were tuned for the present day youth ...guess u must have felt a different experience singing with whispering voice :) ... was different hearing a song completely on a subtle whisper... good though ! lot of english words - also saying thamizh in that inglis tone :) ..... Thumbsup to Rahman ji n ur voice !
I am not a huge fan of ARR's songs remade from Hindi to Tamil but his Chinnama was awesome! Great album ...he's on a roll again this year. You're a great singer btw, I am surprised you did not get nominated for Maiya Maiya or Tera Bina. Any ARR hindi hits in 2008?
This is a mind blowing album by ARRji...He has given a big treat to all fans...You did a great job in "I miss u da" and "Chinnamma"...
I have two questions.
1) Who is Indai Haza and which part did he/she sing in the "I miss u" song? 2) If you have the lyrics of "i miss u da", please post it here...Sad, that there's no lyrics booklet in the CD pack...
Thanks in advance, Madhavan.R Love, Music, Peace,...and A R Rahman for Life.
Miss you miss you da...sounds great Chinmayee! It seems really different from anything you;ve done before, in fact a very seductive like song. how do you feel about that?
Ur songs are awesome in the album! I wouldn't even have recognize it was you if I had just listened to the song without looking at who sang it! That's what Rahman sir can do to people...i guess! Otherwise, you're 100% correct...a magnificent album but a genius. After the gr8 success of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na which was an amazing musical experience as well!
" I miss you da " swifts in NY nagaram 500 years from now .... phew ;-) guess even the Holly guys havent thought about ... n almost 2 crores spent for the song sets i believe !!!! thats pretty hopes for probably graphics .... good step ahead ! Chin...... will you knw about the song situations etc when u sing ??? bg
thanks everyone.. Priya: I didnt sing minsara kanna..I was quite flummoxed with that question so I didnt know how to answer that Maddy: I hope you got your answer.. will post the lyrics once I get my laptop
Loved ur rendition in chinnamma... And for I miss u da, i cudn't believe unless i saw ur post that it was ur voice... i cud recognize indai haza's voice as urs but not urs as urs and i thought the main singer was indai haza... :))
Hi Indai Haza, I loved ur rendition in 'I Miss u da' ..It sounded as if u were actually missing somebody. Hmmm?? I am not getting naughty. The voice had oomph.. The low baritone idea was good. It sort of raised the quality of the song. It also somewhere sounded like 'Aey Goodbye Namba' or ' Hey Khuda Hafiz of ' Aayudha Ezhutha' and 'Yuva' respectively. The treatment was similar. I guess. Take Care.
Hai akka, songs are mind blowing. Its Awesome akka..,I miss u da and chinnama rockZZ..hoping these songs for nice awards akka, waiting to see ur name on nomination.Advace wishes! - jishu
"I miss u da" and "chinamma" simply rocked the album ! amazing pitch difference u could do in "chinamma" song ... great...music and voice..a perfect combination...well appreciated
I am a die - hard fans of urs. U r definently going to win the Vijay 2008 award and the 54th filmfare award. It a good thing rahman sir used you for Chinamma and I miss u da because ur voice blends with the music. If rahman sir used another singer the song would have not been really good.
