Guys, finally the analysis on Amudhe Thamizhe. Scroll Down. As I said all this Raga and theory is too much for me, but thanks to this I learnt something new.. Keep asking, and that way I can learn a lot more from my mom, and in the process, know a lot more about Raja Sir too !!

The information given below is furnished by mom. Copyright Protected. :)

As far as I know, except for those that you have explicitly released in the public domain, the rest are copyright protected by default.

Cool! Lots of changes in your blog. Blogroll (noticed that Prabz's http link in the blogroll is bad), pictures (talking about pictures, all of you look really good in those pictures - you can pass on the compliments to Mathangi and Harish R.). More comments after I wake up completely. Got to get to work soon :-( But the good thing is today's a friday! :-)

Jimmy,

we always have a sense of happiness, when we see the changes as someone beside us learns and gets the nuance of doing things new for the first time...

Kudos for the blogroll and clock. :-)

Its nice to see you redesign your site to make it contemporary.

Here are my few suggestions:

1. Place your profile at the top right corner
2. Archives should have precedence to previous post (which they can anyway see in the main page itself by scrolling down)
3. Is the clock essential? Every pixel in your blog page is e-real estate. Its to be treated as a precious commodity. So decide whether it adds value to your site (though the clock in itself looks good).
4. If answer to 3, is yes then atleast think of putting it in the lower half of the side bar.
5. Some left margin to your blogroll.

All in all a great site with informative articles.

Hello Chinmayi,

Ever since I heard both "oru deivam thantha poove" and "snehidhi, snehidhi" I have been enraptured by your voice. ALthough I have been in the US since '94, I have always seen your shows whenever they have been telecast on Sun since I have it here. If ever you come to the DC area, it is my desire to personally hear you sing "Snehidhi, Snehidhi". I have added your link under Chennai in Indibloggers. Will keep in touch thru your blog. Take care :-)
