Finally the links to the concert with Raja Sir at Italy

This is it.. Happened to sing Elangathu, En Ullil (though this is sligthly sad, cos I forgot a line :D), and also in the Music Journey, asaya kaathula, and in the orchestra also I guess... a couple of my other songs are not there, and some other songs which were performed in the show.

The Music Journey also features the voice of Mr. Uttam Singh.. and I enjoyed this item personally.. a lot of things that Raja sir explained.. God it was a great experience. I liked the kabaddi song especially :D It was great fun!

I am guessing the Concert of Raja Sir's on the 16th this month at Nehru Indoor Stadium will have some items from this concert, as the Three in One, which we performed there, will be a part of this show as well :)

Goodie good .. we should go this concert. Looking forward to it:)

mp3s of any music are always floating around.

For Thiruvasagam CD...there was a determined attempt by his fans to request many sitest to remove them and many of them did comply.

i have bought this CD long back. its is a Collector's Item, especially for ilaiyaraaja fans. My pick of the lot is the track,"Mood in Kapi" , which is an instrumental version of ilaiyaraaja's "aakaasam enaatidho" (thumbi malayalam) from a balu mahendra's film.Awesome track, it is..with some fantastic bass/chord structure.
Chinmayi, i am sure it was a spectacular experience seeing him & his orchestra perform this track live. Lucky, u r.

Ohhh.. Now I know why He kept saying it as thumbi each time when he was referring to it, during practise.

Bte the thumbi is referred to as 'orchestra' in this one right??

The orchestra is my favourite,, we had to hum along and all that, it was great fun

Not sure what you are looking at - but Thumbi Vaa is the same as Mood of Kapi from what I know about the Italy Concert.
This one is a favourite of IR's - the song has versions in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil(Sangathul paadadha from Auto Raja) and Hindi (from Aur Ek prem kahani).

To add to it, the malayalam and telugu versions were both dubbed in tamil so there are 2 more versions.
Oh! I forgot the Malayalam version was also dubbed into Telugu so that's the seventh count for this tune.
