Awesome energy, as Mano said no words to explain! But finally found the word 'fantabulous'!
Expecting to see the remaining part of the program also.

Cheers, Sendhil

Watching shows of this kind brings a different perspective to life. You get to discover the real peace, calmness and divine within you.The greatest aspect about these shows is that the voice takes the centrestage and the BGMs takes the real back stage.Within a couple of hours, the best of a Singer is extracted to the hungry audience and Mano does this job to perfection.Eager to watch part 2 of this programme as well.

The best of the best was the "Mayya mayya" from Guru.It is true that the sweetness in a voice is always bestowed by the almighty. But, it requires untiring efforts,to capitalize the strength and become a great singer.A perfect blend of both in you, has brought you here.Wish you all the very best to achieve much more heights in the days/months and years to come.

Nithya: That would be too much importance to one person. Enough given already. All the best to you.

Great! As Praveen mentions, your voice took the center stage here.
Wished the program was longer and longer, so I could have continued listen to your voice for ever. You have such a beautiful voice.

If not for the links I wouldn't have had a chance to watch it in my part of the world. Thanks for sharing.

Hey, Good to watch you in Manodhodo mano... I've been watching you/reading about you/listening to you from the day you sung 'Singara velane vaa' in Ragamalika. Read about the Chotta Ustad show and you are really spreading your wings now. Happy to see your growth and you have no one but your Mom to thank to have reached where you are right now. May God bless you with more success and keep singing!

Ms Chinmayee,

I just finished watching the show and there is just one word "Awesome". You rock. I have been watching you in Sangeetha Mahayuddham(it is a fantastic idea) and after seeing your performance in Mano Sir's program, I am all the more impressed by the awesome talent and above all the humility you exhibit (much like my favorites ARR, Sachin and Dravid!!).You sure have the talent, have worked hard and then there was ARR to show your talent to the world!!

Keep up the great work and a multi-talented person like you can achieve greater heights!!

The song 'Oru theivam' is something unique because of its unusual and high emotions between mother and daughter. You mentioned about your mother. I felt that your first song's situation also surprisingly between mother and a daughter. This type of situation did'nt occurearlier in any of Mani rathnam & Rahman sir films and the chance was given to you. I don’t think it is a coincidence. There is definite divine power is there and some math was there in everyone's life. God is with us.
Cheers, Sendhil

It was very pleasant to hear "Sreegananadham Bhajare" (Dhikshitar kriti) rendered in a different and unique style by you. The slow tempo produced a wavy effect which was a pleasure to listen to.

Looks like you have sung a song in Enthiran (Kilimanjaro)? Waiting to listen. Hope it will be a hit like 'Sahana'. :-) Good luck.

Hello chinmayi,

I listened to "manadhodu mano part-1". When mano asked about your father, I was very eager to know about that. But I was taken aback, when u said you don't know about him. That prompted me to search more about your father. But I got the results that he left when you are one and a half years old. Why I am telling this, in this comment page is : I have noticed you telling in your blog/other that your mother is the one who brought you to this stage/success. I thought it is very common that all children say this, after becoming successful celebrities. Now I realize your mother's role in your success. She is really great. Hats off to to her.

Hi Chinmayi,

A fabulous show. Its not usually common that a celebrity comes out to be intelligent as well.

Your note on your mom was touching! Talking about hurdles on the way to stardom, I love the lyrics of this song from "1942: A love story" - Yeh safar bahot hain katin magar, na udaas ho mere hum safar.

And yes, the next time you sing a western number, please consider "But it rained" by Parikrama.
