Aahaa Kaapi Klub had a few callers from the US of A while I was talking live on the show. Of course, I was more than pleasantly surprised, and then I figured that they were listening to it as-it-happens on the web. Damn cool I'd say. I dont know if the other stations in Chennai have this facility.
To everyone else who have mailed/commented/scrapped me about the link
www.aahaafm.com
Listen up, and if you are lucky we' ll hand you a Diamond ring!!

Yep, I second Shuruthi. It would be great if you can let listeners like us answer online, send you an email etc.

Dialling from out of Madras, it takes more time to dial the ISD, STD codes before the 66 number.

But you guys play good songs.. so its good to listen to tamizh songs live on FM.. on the internet

Hi Chinmayi,

I normally get 1 hr in the morning and 1 hr in the evening to listen to radio when am traveling to office....
These days I see a hell a lot of competition between the RJs of various radio channels.Previously Suchitra had a total control over the show when she was in Mirchi(even now she somehow manages in Radio One). I am a great fan of Ajai(Mirchi) too. His witty shows made my day.Later on even Mamathi Chari made me tune in to Big fm at times. I like the way she handles Tamil words.

People are to be attracted to the maximum to make them stick on to a particular channel. Not just the RJs even the songs matter ,I feel. Coz I myself keep changing channels if the songs are boring(I even tune in to Surian fm at times coz they play soothing songs in the mornings though the RJs are not convincing).

I listened to your show recently.Hope you rock in the 'Kaapi Club' as you did in 'ASSJ'.

Hey Chinmayi,

I dont know if your talk on aahaa fm is topic oriented, (haven't yet listened to it) but if generic, then could you mention the bomb blasts in my home town Hyderabad, condemning them?

Thanks a lot in advance.

i heard about it ananth.. shall see what can be done.. Just FYI I am not the decision maker as to what goes into the show :)

Thank you very much Chinmayi....but if you can put in a word into the decision-makers' ears, I would be grateful. The bomb blasts have taken 36 lives and that's just the official numbers, we dont know how many more are seriously injured and how many of those will make it......such a sad situation...
