Hug me I am heartbroken. I couldn't tolerate my headache till now. What a tensed match! Though the RR played well throughout the tournament, I wished that CSK Should win. But alas... The last over bowling should be given to somebody else except Vallal Balaji. Anyway congrats RR especially Shane Warne for leading the team to Success.

Honestly until CSK beat the Kings XI Pubjab, to me they looked like a team riding on fortunes.
But only in the finals did CSK show their strength when they gave RR a run for their money.
I only wished there were 2 more finals played to make it the best of 3 and needn't have ended when our guys were truly showing their potential.
Well, too much to ask for. But, CSK certainly deserved to win.
That smile on Dhoni's face when only 1 run was required off the last ball only said what kind of a man he was. Thoroughly outstanding.
RR, congratulations!
CSK, I wish them all the very best when they appear for the world championship.

RR were the superior side on paper.. Our CSK lacked depth.. [RR had a lot of good all rounders].. RR had depended on Yusuf and Watson for their entire campaign and in the final too they did their job.. I thought we would not reach the final.. But hats off to Dhoni, he was amazing! It would have been the icing on the cake if we had won.. but [:(].. so Lets have the cake without the cream..
P.S:: Its good you know we dont get Fat!

Royals were better than Chennai, and they won. Yes, I am heartbroken, and I prayed during the match(after years), still no joy :-( But I became a great fan of Dhoni for what he did after the loss, regrouping, consoling, carrying the attitude, he is becoming my fav very fast. When's the last time we saw something like this? (I think the answer's 'never')

UNusually, luck failed 2 favour us in d IPL finals...
I expected another victory equivalent 2 d T20 World Cup...
Anyway Dhoni rocks... Wat a captain he is!!! Awesome... 3 cheers 2 Dhoni...

Even I'm a fan of the Chennai Super Kings... But I felt that the Royals were a more potent force.. As a Chennaitee I'm disappointed but as a passionate cricket fan I feel that the Royals deserved to win as they were the best in business this time around..

They had everything from 3 highest wicket takers to the best all rounder of the tournament... What else can you ask for? Think again Chinmayee..

It's pointless to discuss the mistakes but there were a lot! Missed catches, missed run-out oppertunities, sending in the man in form Badrinath after Kapugedara who scored 8 out of 12, too many wides and no balls....eww.. it keeps on going. 6 runs needed of 3 balls and you throw in a wide which the keeper misses and suddenly it's 4 needed of 3!

So obviously CSK deserved to lose! As Dhoni said, they lost as a team. I still believe CSK has one of the best sides with top performers. And I was really impressed at the fact that CSK cheerleaders went on with the most attractive costumes.

Very sad to lose and still there's a bit of headache left in my skull :)

Rajasthan was the better team and it would have been an upset if Chennai had won...

As many people above said, CSK deserved to maybe reach the finals, but RR deserved to win - considering their performance throughout. They were like Australia in world cup.

And finally, it is always Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar!

It would have been ok if Balaji gave away 4 or 6. He did so well to give just 2 of the first 3 balls and simply threw it away in the 4th.

Both Dhoni and Morkel were more capable of what they did through out the series.

Yup - I would have loved to see them win too :(
