Hi Chinamyi Can't believe this performance of yours? What were you thinking when you picked this song for live performance and that too with such young artists i.e. Agni group! Please don't get me wrong, I'm an ardent fan of yours. You of all people should know what songs to pick for Live Shows. Please do take care on such things in future!
to raji: I see there is nothing wrong. Amongst a couple of old songs I am expected to perform this one especially abroad. And btw this is an extremely tough song to perform live even for veterans. I think we must have a heart thats open enough to accept somethings. And btw, we singers are not the only ones who decide what song gets sung. There are a lot of people who have their say and we need to abide by that.
Done that!! (Bought de passes, I mean) I'm reaaallly lookin fwd 2 watchin dis concert... And I'm very thankful to the hindu 4 having arranged(or maybe in de process of arranging) a festival on such a grand scale, pulling in the best vocalists n players from all over de country... Had de good fortune of listening to Hariharan sir/Mandolin Srinivas sir doing a ghazal bandi last year...it had etched a deep impression and de songs r stl resonating in my ears... Being a huge fan of old hindi melodies n de yesteryears of bollywood(which I think has rightly been called the golden era) and de best singers from de kollywood singing industry crooning those tunes, I guess it really cant get better... All the very best and wish de concert is a huge success... Arvind
Singara Velanae...! I could imagine how difficult a song it is for a live performance. Yet, romba nalla irundhadhu. Your mom isn't for praise and pride. I see a lot of meaning in it and therfore don't have a word more.
Chimayi.. maybe you are not allowed to comment, but did you agree with some of the judges' decision in Airtel Super Singer 2008? particularly about S.Madhumita and Deepshika? I think there are far less par performers still carrying on along with the really deserving ones.

You were absolutely wonderful.. thats the right combination of songs..Please sing any of nusrat fateh ali khan ji's song in super singer. do put it up in your blog when you travel to the US of A... and are there any chances for a super singer to take place for US residents... i would love to participate... ive got the chance to perform in front of you.. and ofcourse had the honor of getting the best female singer.. dont know if u remember this ..it was kuilpauk medical college culturals...:-).
