Starts at about 9:30 am IST on Vijay TV. Sangamam. I enjoyed doing this show but didnt have a clue that they will show it on Pongal.

10:30 On Sun Tv, pattikkaada Pattanama, with Ganagaiamaran Sir and a host of other musicians.

And the 2nd part of the "Symphony" the show on Kairali will be telecast today.

Didnt plan any of this but looks like I have ended up on a lot of shows this time!

Managed to watch a little of that program (SunTV) Chinmayi. Guess all you guys enjoyed doing the show! I also noticed a new budding singer (standing next to you...forgot her name...I think she is a winner of some music based TV program) looking up (did I say literally :) ) to you for guidance!

Thanks,

Soundar

soundar, that was Saidhavi, winner of ragamalika programme on jaya tv.

Chinmayi, your rendition of Thesulavudhe was a pleasant surprise and the pick of the programme. Glad that playback singers of today remember such old classical songs and render them when given a chance.Your hindustani training and talent saw you render the akara brighas effortlessly. As such songs are a rarity in today's film music,it was all the more pleasurable to hear.Did Gangai Amaran have any comments on your performance?

You must consider releasing a Hindustani classical/Ghazal album, with some of the compositions being your own.Being a good singer I think you would definitely have it in you to compose atleast a few classical songs.Just a thought.

Hi,

I saw the sun TV programme. You did a great great job in singing and selecting a song in a genre that you are best at. Your rendition was just unbelievable.

chinmayi, just managed to catch the Gangai Amaran show alone. Too bad I missed the rest. Thought you were a bit subdued(disinterested) in GA's programme. I mean, youu hardly joined in any of the group songs. Was it because some(more) of the songs were dabbanguthu songs from your group?
I mean, Mahathi hijacked even Kaadhalikkum Aasaiyillai, which was your song in the film, right?
Mahathi did well, too. Never knew she could sing so well.

Happened to catch parts of Part2 of the Kairali show. Siddique's questions were so much better than the usual crap that's posed to singers. Did you realize he was taking a dig at the 'Sandhippoma' lyrics? :) In any case, your singing was more than good, and great job with 'Singaaravelane'.
